How we use your information
Northdown Landscapes Ltd uses the information you provide through the Project Hub to respond to enquiries, prepare and manage quotations, arrange consultations and works, keep project records, receive project files and administer requested payments.
Information we collect
This can include your name, email address, phone number, postcode or project address, project brief, budget and timing, project communications, uploaded photos or documents, quotation decisions, scheduling information and payment status. Northdown does not receive or store your full card details when you use Stripe Checkout.
Why we use it
We use project information to take steps you ask us to take before a contract, to perform and administer a contract where work is agreed, to run and protect our business and records, and to meet legal or accounting obligations where applicable.
Who may process it
We use service providers needed to run the Project Hub and the project process, including Cloudflare for hosting/database/file storage, Stripe for secure payments, Google for appointment booking, and our email provider where customer notifications are enabled. Each provider handles information under its own service and privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project records only for as long as reasonably needed for the project, customer service, business records, disputes and legal or accounting requirements. Information that is no longer needed should be securely deleted or anonymised.
Remembering your project on this device
If you leave “Remember this project on this device” selected, the Project Hub stores your project reference and enquiry email in your browser so it can reopen your project more quickly. You can remove that saved access at any time using “Forget this project”. The Project Hub does not use that browser storage for advertising.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to correct inaccurate information, request access to personal information we hold about you, or ask about deletion or restriction where the law provides those rights. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
